Owner Paul Lovato purchased Jambo's BBQ Shack in 2013 from legendary, multiple BBQ competition grand champion, Jamie Geer. In May of 2016, Jambo's BBQ took over the city's oldest restaurant and storied landmark, The Arlington Steakhouse. Lovato's 30+ years of restaurant experience, married with Geer's knowledge and signature spices, results in consistently great BBQ and excellent service.
On April 30, 2017, Jambo's BBQ was featured on an episode of The Travel Channel show, Food Paradise. The episode, "Stack Attack," traveled far and wide in search of foods that cast the most shade. They featured The Jambo Texan!
Fresh meats are smoked daily - in house and over locally sourced pecan wood. Even the sausage is made from scratch! Signature dishes like The Jambo Texan (a giant, five-meat sandwich) and The Sadie (a massive stuffed baked potato) compliment a menu full of Texas-style BBQ along with tasty and unique sides.
Come taste what all the excitement's about!
